Anti-snipe

For the first 20 seconds the fee starts at 99% and falls to the coin’s normal 1%, 2%, or 3%.

The first 20 seconds after launch charge a high fee so block-0 snipers pay more than regular buyers.

What you will see

  • At launch: 99% of the quote spent is fee.
  • After 20 seconds: the coin’s normal fee (1%, 2%, or 3%).
  • In between: the fee falls in a straight line.

The extra above the normal fee goes to protocol, not the creator.

The coin page shows the countdown. If you take a few seconds to connect and type an amount, you usually pay the normal fee.

First buy

A first buy in the launch itself pays the normal fee, not the 99% start. That is why first buy is capped at 10% of supply.

What you cannot do in that window

You cannot force an “exact number of tokens” fill until the 20 seconds end. After that, the coin’s frozen fee applies for good. The creator cannot raise it back to 99%.
